2019 was a good year: we celebrated our 80th anniversary and the move of our office in the south of the Netherlands to Brightlands Chemelot Campus. We are proud of what we have achieved, but we also always look ahead. We are ambitious and have a plan that aims to constantly improve our services, to be a reliable partner for our clients on a lasting basis and to form a solid basis for our employees to continue to develop. In order to be able to take new steps again, we believe that linking knowledge with other disciplines and stability, by being part of a larger whole, is a condition. That is why we have chosen to join Oosterhoff Group. A group of like-minded engineering and consultancy firms, each with a good name and position in the market.
Oosterhoff Group includes: ABT, ABT België, abtWassenaar, Adviesbureau Lüning, bbn adviseurs, HE adviseurs, IBD en Meelis & Partners. The common core values of these operating companies are authority in their field, an integral project approach and entrepreneurship with inspiration. It is our passion to use technology for safe, functional, sustainable and healthy buildings. By joining the Oosterhoff Group, we ensure more stability in achieving these ambitions.
Our services and the way we collaborate with clients and partners will remain unchanged. You will still work with the same advisors and experts as ever. We can just - if desired - also make use of the expertise within the group: a broad range of services and an integrated project approach.
Huygen Engineers and Consultants remains unchanged. This also applies to the board with Ed Vonk as operational director, Gerard Janssen as technical director and Corné Gilissen as general director. An important feature: Oosterhoff Group is in the hands of employees. Ed Vonk and Gerard Janssen have joined as associate partner and Corné Gilissen as partner. The latter will join the group's board.
Our researchers are also joining the Oosterhoff Group.
We are looking forward to the new year. You can, of course, count on our strong commitment again.
